Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy 

Hypnotherapy offers a quick, easy and above all pleasurable solution for a whole range of symptoms including anxiety, phobias, panic attacks, depression, sleep problems, addiction, nerves and sexual problems. Hypnosis also offers the most effective way to quit smoking and is also a great way to lose weight. Most problems can be helped in 1 - 3 convenient 50 minute sessions, with evening and weekend sessions also available.

Hypnotherapy sessions utilise a very safe, pleasant and natural phenomenon known as hypnotic trance. Trance is simply when a person goes deeply into their imagination and hypnosis is when the brainwaves change from the usual Beta waves to Alpha waves. Together these form a state of hypnotic trance during which we are more highly suggestible and so this allows us to achieve quick and significant change.

During the session I bring my client into a very calm and relaxed state of light hypnosis in which they are still awake and in control, but deeply relaxed enough to allow for change to take place. I then give them powerful positive suggestions to help them with whatever problems they may be having, before gently bringing them back to full waking consciousness at the end of the session.
